How to "fix" Eve Online for those who don't like it.
Copy/Paste WoW into Eve Directory.
Modify all files with race names to include "space" in front of it, i.e. Space Orcs, Space Dwarfs and Space Pandas.
Insert Eve Online welcome screen into startup sequence.

Yeah.. sorry about that. It just irritates me soooo much that a lvl 1 Boar will drop a lvl 15 Under Demon Sword for like.. no reason. I mean.. you don't see the sword on the boar. Nothing. It doesn't even have a backpack, or magic bag of holding on it. But sure enough.. you kill it, and POP! Out comes gold and weaponry like some kind of pi+Ķata. Here I was, happy to be a Night Elf and totally immersed in my game.. and then physics and reality go right out the window with this random drop. I could totally see a level 10 boss mob dropping an Under Demon Sword.. totally, but a boar??!?! Come on now.... that's.. that's just wrong and you know it.

Well, I am glad to see you agree. The first time it happened to me I was totally confused. My only real question was.. the boar didn't stick all of that gold in itself.. so who was the sick person who stuffed that boar full of money? Theres only like..so many holes in a boar.. so who thought.. "hey, you know what? I should totally stuff this boar full of money.."? I mean.. seriously.. Its like.. dude.. right?
So then later on.. I see a huge boar.. walking on its back legs and holding an axe. Scary as **** right, so I thought.. dude.. what if the huge man-boar was the one who did that to that other boar? What if the smaller boar was the bigger boars purse that came to life.. and I murdered it and stole this big boars money? I felt bad and ran around in circles flinging all the money out of my wallet onto the ground. You know what happened? The big man-boar killed me. Yep.. hacked me with an axe. I probably deserved it, I killed his purse with his demon sword.
Im an awful person.

Lets all take into account the case of the Mithril Bikini i.e. end game armor. Why is it that this protects so much better against a wall of fire than a level 2 full body suit of armor? Does this not bug you? Reality states that the full body armor would protect you wayyy better... its full body! That Mithril Bikini would only protect your naughty bits from the fire. Now believe me, I'm all for full mythical protection of my bits, but not at the expense of the rest of me! Now, you combine this end game armor with a sword so big that it dwarfs me. Why the hell would I choose this? Why is the giant sword that is clearly made for a giant given to a normal sized person? I can't even make a chop without jumping to gain leverage! Bah! Whatever happened to the efficiency of normal weapons? It seems like the higher my level, the more awkward my choices of defenses and offensive hardware. I start the game looking like a normal warrior... I end the game looking like a warriors younger brother wielding his hand me downs.

When I was young, I always wanted a 1969 Pontiac GTO. To me, it was the sexiest car in the world. I scoured the earth and was unable to find one that I could afford.
